If you are trying to increase the amount of antioxidants in your diet, the wonderful blueberry is a great fruit to start with.

It has been found that a blueberry rich diet may help diminish belly fat.  Abdominal or belly fat has been linked to heart disease and diabetes. 

The other good news is that even after having been frozen blueberries still retain most of their nutritional benefits.  Frozen blueberries may however lose a little less than 25% of the vitamin E content and beta carotene.  So, it is possible to gain fantastic health benefits from the frozen berry as well which means that it is possible to enjoy this fruit all year round without worrying about a large loss of nutrients.
