Coconut Water and your health

I just heard some very interesting information on a wonderful and natural health drink that is very popular in Hawii.  No, it's not a brand new health or energy drink, but it is all  natural coconut water.

Coconut water is high in potassium, chloride, Vitamins A and E.  It is known to decrease blood sugar, increase bone strength and improve dental health.  It is higher in electrolytes than "Gatorade" plus it doesn't have the artificial coloring nor sugar that are detrmental ingredient s in "Gatorade."

Coconut water  is found in the young, green coconut. According to Jason Hill's video report on http://www.cookngsession.com/, coconut water has a slightly sweet, almond taste.  It is naturally low in fat- which is great news for those who are trying to lose weight.   In addition to its natural vitamin content, it is known to be beneficial in kidney cleansing, heart health and mental acuity.  It also is higher in potassium than bananas.

Another plus is that it can serve as a substitute for milk.  This is a "must do" for people who are lactose intolerant as well as being  gluten  free.  It also promotes digestion and strengthens mmunty.

And, guess what? Coconut water to be a natural cure for the hangover "blues."  This makes it a great cure for those who lke to indulge too much every now and then.
