Anti aging skin care recipes

Want to help your skin look younger and vibrant naturally? Well forget the botox and the face lift surgeries and do it all on your own the natural and healthful way with vegetables, fruits and nuts.

Natural cleansers

Try this recipe for natural cleanser and scrub.

1/4 avocado

2 tablespoons of kosher salt

1 teaspoon of parsley

Blend all ingredients in a blender for approximately 20 seconds.  Apply to skin and rinse off with warm water.

Healthful benefits include vitamin C in the parsley which is great for collagen production.  Avocado is chock full of vitamins A, B and antioxidants. The salt naturally cleans and exfoliates older skin cells.



As an alternative skin cleanser, try the following - particularly if you suffer from hyperpigmentation.

1/8 cup of sour cream

1 teaspoon brewed green tea

2 mashed  blueberries

This healthful blend provides antioxidants, lactic acid (sour cream) whihch can lighten areas of hyperpigmentation.  Green tea has many great effects including antibacterial properties and provides protection against sun damage.


Great moisturizers

There are an abundance of natural oils that moisturize, tone and provides powerful nutrients to the skin.  Moisturizing is particularly important this time of year as we prepare for winter.

Olive oil - Is great for the skin and overall health.  It is also good for growing healthier, stronger finger nails.  When taken internally, it lowers cholersterol and provides protection against heart disease.

Almond oil - Is a  fabulous oil for the skin and hair. Almond oil is fantartic for strengthening hair.

Vitamin E - Is good for discoloration and scars on skin.

Vitamin A oil - Great for sealing in moisture and for dry, irritated skin.
