As I continue to read and learn about the many centuries old beauty secrets and practices performed throughout the ages, I am truly amazed at the immeasurable benefits both inside and out.  One such example is almond oil.

Let's examine what almond oil can do for hair, skin and overall health.

Benefits of Almond oil

Almond oil is high in EFA which are important in many functions in the body, including battling heart disease and high cholesterol.  Magnesium, manganese and vitamin E are also ingredients in this beneficial oil that enhance health by assisting in the absorption of other vitamins. that are important in many cellular functions

For the hair, almond oil helps strengthen, moisturize and add shine to the hair. This provides growth and prevents breakage. Almond oil can also be mixed to make a rinse by adding about 10 drops to 2 cups or so of water after your shampoo.  Do this regularly to  enjoy hair benefits.

Almond oil can also be added to olive oil to make a great oil conditioning treatment for dry and breaking hair.  Leave on for 15 minutes, cover with a cap and then wash.

Almond oil and the skin

Almond oil is high in vitamin E which is great in eliminating dark spots, stretch marks and other minor imperfections on the skin.  It also is important in moisturizing skin, which will make it appear younger by providing deep moisturizing preperties.

So, when deciding to papmer yourself, make sure you add almond oil to your beauty regimen.
